Specimen Processing and Image Preparation Workflow
Step 1. Receipt and Preparation of Specimens
Biological tissue specimens are received from clients and prepared according to standardized handling procedures to ensure structural integrity throughout the processing workflow.
Step 2. Tissue Treatment
The specimens undergo controlled chemical and physical treatment processes, including fixation and permeability preparation, to enable subsequent imaging compatibility.
Step 3. Staining and Labeling Processing
The treated specimens are processed using established staining and labeling protocols, including nuclear, membrane, immunochemical, antibody-based labeling and tissue clearing.
Step 4. Image Acquisition Preparation
Processed specimens are further mounted to enable multi-layer image capture while preserving spatial relationships within the specimen.
Step 5. Digital Image Processing and Reconstruction
Captured image data are used for custom digital image processing, including alignment, enhancement, and 3D reconstruction.
Step 6. Delivery of Processed Image Outputs
Final processed images, including reconstructed 3D visual representations, are generated and delivered to clients.
